I used to pick up trash on the sidewalks as a spiritual practice. How does one do it without anger, without judgments?

Yesterday, I walked right up to the edge of a bus I was ready to throw myself under, metaphorically speaking. It was a pattern I recognized.

I learned a rule to live by: if I am not centered, my job is to get centered. If I am, my job is to help others or be creative.
